We believe

In The Saving Grace

The Bible

We believe the Bible, as originally given, to be without error, the fully inspired and infallible Word of God and the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

Trinity

The Godhead exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are one God, having the same nature and attributes and are worthy of the same homage, confidence, and obedience.

The Father

God the Father exists eternally as the Creator of heaven and earth, the Giver of the Law, to whom all things will be subjected, so that He may be all in all. He expressed His love by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to save humanity.

The Son

The Lord Jesus Christ, only begotten Son of the Father, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He died upon the cross as a substitution sacrifice. He rose from the dead. He is now at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is also God, performing actions and possessing the attributes of the Deity. His personality is shown by the fact that He has personal characteristics and that individuals may relate to Him as a person.

Humanity

We believe that mankind was made in the image of God. We believe in the universal sinfulness of all men since the Fall, rendering man subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.

Salvation

We believe in the necessity for salvation of repentance towards God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ by which the sinner is pardoned and accepted as righteous in God’s sight. This justification is imputed by the grace of God because of the atoning work of Christ, is received by faith alone and is evidenced by the Fruit of the Spirit and a holy life.

The Church

We believe in the spiritual unity and the priesthood of all believers in Christ and that these comprise the universal Church, the Body of Christ.

Baptism

We believe in the baptism of believers in water in obedience to the command of Christ

Communion

We believe in the commemoration of Christ’s death by the observance of the Lord’s Supper until His return.
